Concrete Finisher

SUBMIT APPLICATION

Must be knowledgeable in the following areas:
- Building, installing and dismantling forms
- Concrete pouring processes
​- Grading project area including dirt and concrete according to specifications
- Installing and tying rebar and wire mesh
​- Site prep and clean up
- Checking forms for proper construction.
- Setting forms to desired pitch, depth and proper alignment.
- Spreading, leveling and smoothing concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power
screed and float.
- Molding expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointer and straight edge.
- Monitoring weather elements for effect on the curing of concrete.
- Producing rough concrete surface using broom.
- Operating power vibrator to consolidate concrete.
- Application of surface treatments.
- Understanding /Reading blueprints and elevations.
